FAQ

Do I need to do anything right now?

No. There is no action required at this time. Your service will continue without interruption. 

Is anything going to change with my alarm monitoring protocols or procedures?

No. Your monitoring and service will continue as normal without any disruption. Doyle Security's Emergency Response Center in Rochester, NY operates 24/7/365 and all calls are handled by highly-trained Doyle employees. 

The alarm monitoring staff at Sentry Alarms will gradually begin to merge with the Doyle team within the next few months, but at the outset, your alarms will continue to be monitored exclusively by the Binghamton-based monitoring team.

Doyle’s alarm handling protocols are based on industry best practices. These procedures can be found in the welcome booklet linked below. If after reviewing these procedures, you would like to request a change, you may do so by emailing DataEntry@GoDoyle.com.  

Where is Doyle's office?

Our headquarters is located in Henrietta, NY. We also have offices in Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Dunkirk, Watertown, Fishkill and Catskill, New York as well as Erie, Pennsylvania. The office address for Sentry will remain the same.

Can I still reach the Sentry staff?

Yes! The whole Sentry team is joining Doyle Security and you'll still be able to reach all of the same team you've relied upon for years.  For the time being, nothing will change with call procedures. You can continue to use the same numbers and extensions you're used to. Gradually, as we begin to merge operations, you may see new options in our phone tree but you'll still be able to reach the local team at any time. Will my pricing change?

There are no immediate changes to your agreement. If anything changes in the future, you will be notified in advance. 

Is the Sentry team staying?

Yes! The Sentry team has joined Doyle and you can still find the team at the existing office location on Chenango Street in downtown Binghamton. Marissa Hubbert has joined us as General Manager and Brian Lynady has joined us as Operations Manager. They can be reached at (607) 723-2934. Our security consultants, David Winckler and Greg Baldwin, are here as well as the rest of the Sentry Alarms team.
