Available Position

This Customer Care Team member will serve as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries concerning their security systems (Intrusion, Fire, CCTV, Access Control) and the services we offer for each. Employees in this position work closely with sales, installation, service, operations and accounting teams to achieve operational efficiency. Technician dispatchers assume 100% responsibility for service, inspections, projects and Service billing. We work with respective Operations Managers, set goals and objectives, contribute to the success of the department and ensure contracted customer service levels are met. It is essential to exhibit a sense of urgency and escalate critical issues when needed. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, exercise good judgement, make quality decisions and take tactful and diplomatic approaches when interacting with both internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Field inbound customer calls and answer questions and concerns on their security systems
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues remotely when able
  • Provide service support and scheduling of service tickets and inspections
  • Dispatch service tickets, inspections or install jobs to appropriate, qualified service technicians
  • Establish, build and maintain both internal and external customer relationships
  • Foster an environment of continuous teamwork and support
  • Manage service tickets for timely resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Deliver world-class customer service experiences
  • May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company
    • Cross training and once a month on-call rotation
    • Be available to work Holidays and fill shifts as needed

Required Background and Experience

  • Previous call center experience (customer care, technical support, dispatching- preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook (required), Word & Excel (preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow through and ability to take initiative
  • Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to make quality decisions and solve problems
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Required to wear a headset and sit at a work station for long periods of time
