As of Feb 1, 2019, CIA Security has merged with Doyle Security Systems.  We are excited and honored to be of service to you and to carry on the tradition of great service you have received from CIA Security.  Below are some answers to questions you may have about this transition.  We've set up a special merger support team to help answer any questions you may have.  If you need to speak with us at any time, please call us at 585-242-1555 or email us at CIAsupport@godoyle.com.

Is my account still being monitored?

Yes. Nothing will change with your monitoring service at this time.  Doyle Security operates its own U.L. Five Diamond Certified Emergency Response Center based out of Henrietta, NY and will gradually migrate services from CIA's central station (Signal Central) to ours, which should take about six months.  There will be no disruption in your service.  If you need to reach the CIA response center, please continue to call 845-897-1200.  Once the migration is complete, this number will be forwarded to Doyle.  For a list of Doyle's standard monitoring policies, download the welcome kit at the link below.  If you wish to make any adjustments to our standard policies, please let us know and we can customize your monitoring service.

Is my rate going to go up?

We are happy to say that we will be honoring all existing monitoring and service rates.

Where is Doyle's Office?

Our headquarters is located in Rochester, NY but we also maintain offices in all seven of our service areas.  The office address for the CIA Fishkill and Catskill locations will remain the same.  

Can I still reach the CIA Staff?

Yes!  The CIA phone numbers and website will remain active. The CIA team is still here and ready and able to support you whenever you need them.  You'll continue to work with the same technical support, sales and administrative staff as before.  

Will I be getting new signs and stickers?

CIA and Doyle will be gradually merging identities, but the CIA name will continue to exist for the foreseeable future.  If you would like to request new Doyle Security signs and stickers immediately, you may do so by visiting our sign and decal request form.

Why wasn't I informed before the merger?

The leadership teams at both CIA and Doyle desire to keep our customers as informed as possible, which is why the letters we sent you regarding the merger were mailed the day the transaction was complete.  With transactions of this nature, confidentiality between the two parties is extremely important and it's typical to keep the details private until the transaction is official.  We do this to ensure a seamless transition and protect the interests of the owners and employees at both companies.
